The XM 14 HW CMSI T is a compact transom-mount transducer that brings full MEGA imaging capability to compatible Humminbird fish finders. It delivers MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, and Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar through a single screw-on connector — making it the go-to transducer for XPLORE, APEX, and SOLIX G3 installations where a smaller profile is preferred over a trolling motor or in-hull mount.

Connector compatibility: This unit uses a screw-on connector. Confirm your head unit's transducer port accepts this connector type before ordering — some older Humminbird models use a different locking mechanism and are not compatible.
MEGA imaging note: MEGA Side Imaging+ and MEGA Down Imaging+ require a MEGA-capable head unit. Standard CHIRP-only units will not display MEGA imagery even with this transducer connected — only the 2D CHIRP channel will be active in that case.
Depth vs. range trade-off: At MEGA frequencies (1.1+ MHz), you get the sharpest imagery but reduced range. Switch to 455 kHz when fishing deeper water or when maximum side coverage matters more than resolution.
