Each panel measures 1" thick × 32" × 54" and weighs 1 lb per square foot, providing meaningful mass-loaded attenuation in a manageable panel size.
Construction
The composite consists of a layer of mass-loaded vinyl (MLV) sandwiched between two equal layers of polyether fire-retardant foam, finished with a thin vapor barrier facing. Centering the acoustic vinyl between equal foam layers maximizes both absorption and transmission loss across the frequency range.
