Interlux Original Spar Varnish — Quart (90QTCA)
Interlux Original is a traditional phenolic resin spar varnish that produces a warm, golden-colored, high-gloss finish on interior and exterior wood surfaces. Simple to apply by brush and forgiving for DIY use, it delivers reliable durability, good gloss retention, and UV protection through built-in ultraviolet filters — making it a solid everyday varnish for cabin trim, handrails, coamings, and other brightwork above the waterline.
For more film build per coat and enhanced UV protection, step up to Interlux Schooner Varnish or the premium Interlux Schooner Gold. Thin with Interlux 333 Brushing Liquid for the first coat or in warm conditions to improve flow and penetration.
