Interlux Interprotect 2000E is a two-part epoxy barrier coat primer that protects fiberglass hulls from water absorption and osmotic blistering. Formulated with Interlux's proprietary Microplates® technology, the cured film creates an overlapping platelet structure that dramatically reduces water vapor transmission through the hull — providing superior barrier protection compared to conventional epoxy primers.
The White color is ideal when a light-colored barrier coat is required — particularly under white or light-colored antifouling topcoats, or for above-waterline applications where a gray primer would show through. Interprotect 2000E White is also the recommended product for repairing fiberglass hulls that have experienced osmotic blistering. Sold as a case of 2 gallon kits, each kit includes the base and curing agent.
