It is the recommended primer step before applying International or Interlux antifouling topcoats including Interlux Micron CSC and Interlux Micron 66. Do not skip the primer step on bare metal — applying antifouling directly to aluminum without Primocon will result in poor adhesion and accelerated corrosion. One quart covers approximately 50–60 sq ft per coat; two coats are recommended on bare metal.
