Product Description
The Jabsco 18777-0001-P is a large 10-blade neoprene replacement impeller kit for compatible crankshaft-driven marine raw-water pumps. It uses a brass spline-drive hub and is designed to restore cooling-water flow in Jabsco 22110, 23800 and 50410-series pump assemblies. It also replaces the earlier Jabsco 22120-0001 impeller.

Before ordering, confirm that the original impeller requires:

Do not select this impeller by diameter alone. Other 2-1/4-inch Jabsco impellers may use different widths, blade counts or drive systems.
When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the impeller when:
- Exhaust-water discharge becomes weak
- Engine temperature starts rising
- The pump struggles to prime
- Impeller blades become cracked, hardened or permanently curved
- Blade tips are worn or missing
- The spline hub becomes loose or damaged
- The pump has operated dry
- Annual preventive cooling-system service is due
Jabsco recommends scheduled preventive replacement rather than waiting for complete failure, particularly in engine-cooling applications.
Installation Notes
- Stop the engine and isolate the starting circuit.
- Close the raw-water intake seacock.
- Remove the pump cover and old gasket or O-ring.
- Pull the impeller using a proper removal tool or suitable pliers gripping the hub.
- Do not pry against the pump face with a screwdriver.
- Recover missing blade pieces from hoses, coolers and heat exchangers.
- Inspect the pump bore, cam, cover plate, shaft and splines.
- Lubricate the new impeller before installation.
- Align the spline-drive hub carefully with the pump shaft.
- Install the supplied sealing component and refit the cover.
- Reopen the seacock and confirm strong cooling-water flow immediately after startup.
Avoid operating the neoprene impeller without water.
