The Jabsco 22799-0001-P is a six-blade neoprene flexible impeller kit for compatible marine engine-cooling, bilge, circulation and general-purpose water pumps. When This Part Needs Replacement
Replace the impeller when:

Jabsco recommends preventive replacement rather than waiting for complete impeller failure, particularly in engine-cooling systems.
Installation Notes
- Stop the engine and isolate the starting system.
- Close the raw-water seacock or applicable isolation valve.
- Remove the pump cover and old sealing component.
- Use a proper impeller puller or suitable pliers to grip the hub.
- Do not pry against the pump housing with a screwdriver.
- Recover all missing vane pieces from hoses, oil coolers and heat exchangers.
- Inspect the cover plate, cam, pump bore, shaft and key.
- Lubricate the new impeller before installation.
- Align the hub keyway with the shaft key.
- Install the supplied gasket or O-ring and refit the cover.
- Reopen the seacock and confirm water flow immediately after startup.
Avoid operating the pump dry; extended dry running can quickly damage a neoprene impeller.
