When This Part Needs Replacement

Installation Notes
- Stop the engine and isolate its starting system.
- Close the raw-water intake seacock.
- Remove the pump end cover and sealing component.

- Retrieve missing vane fragments from hoses, coolers and heat exchangers.
- Inspect the pump bore, cam, cover plate, shaft and drive key.
- Lubricate the new impeller before installation.

- Install the correct O-ring or gasket for the pump model.
- Reopen the seacock and confirm strong water flow immediately after startup.
