The correct replacement seal for Lewmar Medium Profile hatches. This seal fits into the hatch frame channel to create a reliable compression seal between the frame and the acrylic lens — keeping water out of the cabin and maintaining the weathertight integrity of your hatch. Designed specifically for the Medium Profile series, it will not interchange with Lewmar’s Low Profile or Ocean series hatches.
Hatch seals are a wear item. UV exposure, compression set, and repeated opening and closing cycles cause the rubber to harden, flatten, and lose its sealing ability over time. Replacing the seal is a straightforward repair that restores full performance without replacing the entire hatch assembly.
