A complete magnesium anode service kit for Suzuki 150 to 350HP four-stroke outboard motors operating in freshwater. Magnesium is the only sacrificial metal that provides effective galvanic protection in freshwater — zinc and aluminum anodes go passive in low-conductivity water and stop working, leaving your motor’s lower unit, trim tabs, and cavitation plate unprotected.
The kit includes all anode castings, mounting hardware, and installation instructions for a complete replacement in one service visit.

These are popular motors on freshwater performance and fishing boats, and zinc anode kits are frequently installed by mistake — either because they were already on the motor or because zinc is more commonly stocked at marine retailers. In freshwater, zinc provides essentially no galvanic protection. If you’re seeing corrosion on a freshwater Suzuki outboard with zinc anodes, switching to magnesium is the fix.
Replace the full 12-piece kit at each annual service. Mixing old and new anodes — or mixing alloys — creates uneven sacrifice rates across the motor and can leave some positions underprotected.
