Martyr CMX04 Zinc Streamline Shaft Anode

The CMX04 is the correct zinc shaft anode for 1-1/8" shafts in saltwater. It’s a commonly stocked size on mid-range inboard vessels. The most frequent ordering mistake is confusing the 1-1/8" CMX04 with the 1" CMX03 or the 1-1/4" CMX05 — always measure your shaft diameter before ordering. If you’re in brackish or mixed-salinity water, the CMX04AL aluminum version is the better choice, as zinc can passivate in lower-salinity conditions. For freshwater, use the CMX04M magnesium version.
