Martyr CMX09 Zinc Streamline Shaft Anode
Protect your 2" prop shaft from galvanic corrosion with this precision-cast zinc streamline shaft anode. The low-drag, hydrodynamic profile minimizes water resistance while delivering reliable sacrificial protection in saltwater. The stainless steel Allen head screw locks the anode firmly in place for a rattle-free fit all season.
The 2" shaft diameter is found on large inboard vessels, heavy twin-screw cruisers, commercial workboats, and some trawlers — the CMX09 provides the substantial sacrificial mass appropriate for these heavy-duty platforms.

The CMX09 is a large-format shaft anode suited to commercial vessels, heavy trawlers, and large twin-screw inboards. At 2", this is a specialty size that is rarely stocked at local marine retailers — ordering well ahead of a haulout is strongly recommended. Always measure your shaft diameter with calipers before ordering; the 2" CMX09 is a distinct size from the 1-3/4" CMX08 and the 2-1/4" CMX10.
For brackish or mixed-salinity water, the CMX09AL aluminum version is the better choice over zinc. For freshwater, use the CMX09M magnesium version.
