Product Description
Mercury Quicksilver 27-41382 is the cylinder-block-cover gasket for selected legacy Mercury 7.5 and 9.8 hp outboards. It seals the cylinder-block cover and is separate from the adjacent exhaust-baffle and intake-cover gaskets.

A verified application is Mercury 7.5 hp, US serial number 5206550 and up, cylinder-block and crankcase assembly. Legacy 7.5/9.8 hp applications must be checked by serial range and cover configuration.
Replacement and Installation
Renew the gasket when removing the cylinder-block cover. Clean the mating surfaces without scoring them and follow the applicable service procedure for orientation and tightening.
