Mercury Quicksilver 48752T is the water-pump insert cup for specified Mercury and Mariner outboards and MerCruiser R/MR/Alpha One drives. It fits inside the water-pump body around the impeller.

Compatibility and Fitment
Documented applications include MerCruiser R/MR/Alpha One sterndrives, 1983–1990, plus specified Mercury/Mariner outboards. The MR gear-housing/driveshaft diagram lists the insert separately from pump body 46-96148T1. Match the installed lower unit and pump assembly by serial number.
Replacement and Installation
Inspect the cup for scoring, distortion or heat damage whenever the impeller is serviced. Replace a damaged cup and inspect the impeller, body and face plate together. Align the insert with the pump-body features and follow the service-manual assembly procedure.
