Product Description
Quicksilver 864591T02 is a dry-joint exhaust elbow with a 4-inch outside-diameter outlet and a 14-degree downward outlet angle. Mercury specifies a hot-dipped and powder-coated finish for corrosion protection.
Engine Compatibility
- Selected GM-based MerCruiser V6 and V8 sterndrive engines with dry-joint manifolds: 2004 and newer, serial 0W310000 and above
- Selected GM-based MerCruiser V8 inboard engines: 2002 and newer, serial 0M317000 and above
Replacement and Installation
Check the installed elbow, exhaust hose alignment and cooling configuration. Renew the applicable gasket when opening the joint and inspect the manifold and exhaust-water passages before reassembly.

Confirm the 14-degree outlet angle. Dry-joint elbows with a different angle can change hose alignment and are not selected solely by engine displacement.
