Product Description
Quicksilver 27-864850A02 is a restrictor-style exhaust elbow gasket for specified MerCruiser dry-joint exhaust manifolds. It is used at the manifold-to-riser or elbow joint in the appropriate standard-cooling arrangement.
Engine Compatibility
Mercury specifies selected 2002-and-newer V6 and V8 MerCruiser sterndrive and inboard engines with dry-joint manifolds. Confirm the engine serial number, manifold design and cooling configuration.

Replacement and Installation
Inspect the sealing faces and exhaust-water passages when the joint is opened. Install the gasket in the orientation required by the service manual and use the specified fastening sequence.
