The Riptide Instinct Quest 1358562 is built for the offshore angler who wants it all: the hands-free convenience of fully automatic stow/deploy, on-the-fly depth control via Power Trim, and an 87" shaft with the reach to deploy properly on the tallest offshore hulls. This is the longest-shaft model in the Riptide Instinct Quest lineup — purpose-built for large sportfishers, tournament center consoles, and deep-V platforms with extreme freeboard where shorter shafts fall short. The white finish is designed to blend cleanly with most offshore boat color schemes.

If you’re comparing to the Terrova at this shaft length, the Riptide Terrova Quest 87" (1363902) has the same GPS and brushless motor but requires a manual lever to stow and deploy — the Instinct is the upgrade for anglers who want full automation. If your bow height exceeds 35" and even the 87" shaft won’t reach, the Riptide Terrova Quest 100" (1363903) is the next option — note that the Instinct lineup does not extend to 100".
