Best Use Case: The 72" shaft is the right call for boats with a bow height of approximately 28"–36" from the waterline — common on larger aluminum fishing boats, deep-V hulls, and some fiberglass bass boats. If your bow sits higher than average and your 60" shaft motor has been cavitating or losing efficiency, this is the correct upgrade. The 112 lb / 36V output is well-matched to boats in the 22–26 ft range.
Shaft Selection Tip: A general rule is to add 16" to your bow height to determine the minimum shaft length needed. Measure from the waterline to the top of the bow mount before ordering.
Sonar Integration: The built-in MEGA Down Imaging transducer connects directly to compatible Humminbird® fish finders. Confirm your Humminbird unit supports MEGA imaging before purchase.
Battery Pairing: A 36V lithium or AGM battery bank will maximize the Digital Maximizer™ run-time advantage. Size your bank to your typical fishing day — this motor is efficient but draws significant current at full thrust.
