The Mustang Survival MA2014 Re-Arm Kit D contains the replacement components required to return compatible Mustang M.I.T. 100 manual and automatic inflatable PFDs to service after deployment. The kit uses a 24-gram CO₂ cylinder with a bayonet-style assembly and fits the MD2014, MD2015, MD2016 and MD2017 PFD series.

Fitment Notice
Verify the complete model number and suffix printed on the approval label inside the PFD before ordering. Use the MA2014 only when the PFD model matches MD2014, MD2015, MD2016 or MD2017, including confirmed CM and T1 variants.
If the PFD model is not listed above, do not use this kit. Refer to the PFD owner’s manual or verify the correct re-arming kit with Mustang Survival. For compatible MD3153 through MD3188-series PFDs, use the Mustang MA7214 Re-Arming Kit instead.
When This Kit Is Required
- After the PFD has inflated during an emergency
- After an accidental or test deployment
- When the installed CO₂ cylinder has been punctured or discharged
- When the inflator bobbin is expired, damaged or due for scheduled replacement
- When required by the inspection schedule in the PFD owner’s manual
Re-Arming Notes
- Fully deflate the flotation bladder before beginning the re-arming procedure.
- Inspect the bladder, seams, oral inflation valve, inflator and outer cover for damage.
- Do not reuse a punctured or discharged CO₂ cylinder.
- Install the new cylinder, bayonet assembly and bobbin according to the supplied Mustang instructions.
- The replacement bobbin is used only with compatible automatic-inflation models.
- Confirm that the inflator status indicators show the PFD is correctly armed.
- Refold and repack the bladder according to the PFD owner’s manual.
- Do not return the PFD to service until inspection, re-arming and repacking are complete.

The MA2014 is the correct re-arming kit for Mustang’s MD2014 through MD2017-series inflatable PFDs. After any inflation event, whether accidental or in an emergency, the bladder must be fully deflated, inspected for damage, correctly refolded and re-armed before the PFD is considered serviceable.
Never reuse a spent CO₂ cylinder. The MA2014 includes a fresh 24-gram cylinder with bayonet assembly and a replacement bobbin for automatic models.
