Fitment Notice

Operating Notes

For normal jump starting:

1. Connect the red clamp to the positive battery terminal.
2. Connect the black clamp to the negative battery terminal or approved engine ground.
3. Turn the GB70 on.
4. Start the engine according to the vehicle or engine manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Turn the GB70 off and disconnect the clamps after the engine starts.

Do not crank the engine continuously for extended periods. Allow the jump starter to cool between unsuccessful attempts and investigate the battery, starter or engine if repeated attempts are required.

Marine Use Notes

The GB70 can be used for emergency jump starting aboard boats with compatible 12-volt lead-acid starting batteries. Store it in a dry, accessible location and keep all charging-port covers securely closed when exposed to a marine environment. Although the housing is rated IP65 with the ports closed, the unit is not intended for submersion. Do not operate it near fuel vapours, leaking batteries or an explosive atmosphere.
