PCM Electric Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Assembly – FCC | RA080018B
Keep fuel moving reliably from tank to engine with this OEM-specification low-pressure electric fuel pump assembly for PCM Fuel Control Cell (FCC) systems. In a two-stage FCC fuel setup, this is the lift pump — it draws fuel from the tank and delivers it to the FCC module at low pressure, where the high-pressure pump then takes over to supply the injectors.
When the low-pressure pump weakens or fails, the high-pressure pump is starved of supply and the engine suffers: hard starting, fuel pressure drop under load, stalling, and eventually injector damage from running lean. Replacing this assembly with an OEM-spec unit restores the correct flow rate and pressure to the first stage of the fuel system.
Best Use Case
Best suited for replacing a failed or degraded low-pressure lift pump in PCM FCC fuel systems on EFI inboard engines. Common on PCM Excalibur, EX, ZR, and related engine families used in Correct Craft and Nautique boats. Also the right replacement when fuel pressure testing shows adequate high-pressure pump output but low supply pressure at the FCC inlet — a pattern that points directly to the lift pump as the fault. Typically replaced as a complete assembly rather than attempting to rebuild individual components.

Parts Desk Insights
The low-pressure and high-pressure pumps in a PCM FCC system work as a matched pair — if one has failed, inspect the other for wear before reassembly. When replacing this pump, also replace the FCC fuel filter; a restricted filter is a leading cause of lift pump failure due to the increased load it places on the pump motor. See the PCM Fuel Filter – FCC Pump RP077014 for the companion filter, and the PCM High Pressure Fuel Pump FCC RA080025A for the second-stage pump. Always confirm fitment using your engine model and serial number — FCC configurations vary across PCM engine families and model years. Fuel system work on EFI engines requires pressure testing after installation before returning the vessel to service.
