PCM Engine Cooling System Gasket | 97361
A small part with an outsized job. This OEM-specification gasket seals a mating face in the PCM engine cooling system — preventing coolant from weeping at a joint and keeping the cooling circuit pressurized and leak-free. At this price point it’s one of the lowest-cost parts in the engine, but skipping it or reusing a compressed original is a reliable way to end up with a coolant leak after reassembly.
Built to PCM specifications, this gasket is the correct thickness, material, and bore for its position in the cooling circuit, ensuring a proper crush seal when torqued to spec.
Best Use Case
Best suited for use any time a cooling system component is disassembled on a PCM inboard engine — thermostat housing, water outlet, or any other gasketed joint in the cooling circuit. Always replace the gasket rather than reusing the original; a used gasket that has already been compressed will not seal reliably when reassembled. Also the correct replacement when a coolant weep or seep is traced to a gasketed joint face rather than a hose connection.
