This kit is specific to the A-series redesign of the Suzuki DF70–DF90 platform introduced in 2009 — it is not compatible with pre-2009 DF70/DF80/DF90 models. The housing is not included, which is standard for this class; reuse the existing housing unless it shows cracking or wear scoring. For the adjacent smaller displacement A-series engines, see the Quicksilver 8M6012810 kit for DF40A–DF60A. For the step-up DF100–DF140 range, the Quicksilver 8M6012812 kit is the correct fit. Sierra 18-4544 is a direct aftermarket alternative when Quicksilver stock is unavailable.
