The Standard Arm for RAM 1.5" Ball Systems
The RAM RAM-201 is the standard length double socket arm for RAM's 1.5" ball mounting system. It connects two 1.5" ball bases — one at each end — and is the core linking component in any RAM 1.5" ball mount setup. A single internal spring holds the sockets open just enough to allow smooth pivoting, while locking down firmly when tightened for a rock-solid hold.
At 5.625" overall length (4.5" socket-to-socket), the RAM-201 is the mid-length option in the 1.5" arm family — the right choice for most standard helm and console mounting applications where you need reach without excessive extension.
