Twist-Lock Suction Cup Mount with X-Grip® Cradle for Large Phones & Phablets
The RAM-B-166-UN10 is a complete phone mounting solution for windshields, helm glass, and smooth non-porous surfaces. The 3.3" twist-lock suction cup base creates a strong, secure hold and releases cleanly without tools. The standard-length double socket arm uses RAM’s 1" rubber ball and socket system, giving you full adjustment at both ends of the arm so you can position your device at the exact viewing angle you need.
The universal spring-loaded X-Grip® cradle expands and contracts to fit a wide range of large phones and phablets — no case removal required for most devices. Easy-access grip knobs allow quick insertion and release. A device tether is included and recommended for outdoor and marine applications where vibration or wave action could dislodge the device.

The RAM-B-166-UN10 uses the large X-Grip cradle (UN10); the standard/smaller cradle variant is the UN7. Customers should measure their device with the case on before ordering — the maximum width of 4.5" accommodates most large phones and phablets, but very wide rugged cases may exceed this. The 1" ball and socket system is RAM’s standard B-size platform, which is compatible with a wide range of RAM arms, bases, and accessories if the customer wants to swap components later. The suction cup base works on glass and smooth non-porous plastic — it will not hold reliably on textured, painted, or porous surfaces. The device tether is a critical safety accessory for marine use and should always be recommended at point of sale.
