Overview

The Raymarine A06076 is a 1-metre SeaTalkNG (STNG) to DeviceNet (Male) adaptor cable that bridges Raymarine's SeaTalkNG backbone network to instruments and devices using the DeviceNet / NMEA 2000 connector standard. It provides a direct, plug-in connection with no tools required — making it the clean solution for mixed-protocol navigation networks where a SeaTalkNG device needs to communicate with a DeviceNet-connected instrument.

Compatible Applications

  • Connecting SeaTalkNG backbone-equipped systems to DeviceNet (NMEA 2000) instruments
  • Raymarine multifunction display (MFD) networks integrating third-party NMEA 2000 sensors
  • Autopilot, GPS, depth, speed, and wind instrument integration over a mixed STNG / DeviceNet network
  • Any installation requiring a single adaptor between an STNG spur port and a DeviceNet male connector

Parts Desk Insights

This cable is the right pick when you have a Raymarine SeaTalkNG backbone already running through your boat and you need to connect a single third-party NMEA 2000 or DeviceNet instrument — such as a tank sender, engine gateway, or wind sensor — to the network at a spur point. The 1-metre length gives you enough reach to drop from a T-piece or 5-way connector to a nearby instrument without excess cable to manage. If your instrument is further away, step up to a spur cable rather than daisy-chaining this adaptor. Ensure the SeaTalkNG backbone is properly terminated at both ends with an A06031 terminator — an un-terminated backbone is the most common cause of intermittent NMEA 2000 dropouts on mixed networks.
