The Raymarine Digital Radar Cable — 5 m is the shorter-run option for connecting Raymarine Digital and HD radar domes to a compatible Raymarine chartplotter or radar interface. Carrying both power and data through a single proprietary cable, it suits installations where the radar dome is mounted close to the helm — such as a low arch on a smaller vessel, a hardtop directly above the helm station, or a flybridge-to-helm run where the distance is under 5 m.
This cable uses Raymarine’s proprietary multi-pin connector and is not interchangeable with the RJ45 Ethernet cable used by Raymarine Quantum series radars. Confirm your radar model and connector type before ordering.

For most arch-to-helm or mast-to-helm runs on vessels 25 ft and up, the 10 m Digital Radar Cable is the more practical choice and avoids the need for an extension. Measure your intended cable run before ordering — a cable that is too short cannot be easily extended without additional hardware.

- Route the cable from the radar dome mounting location to the chartplotter or radar interface, keeping bends gradual to protect the connector seals
- If your cable run exceeds 5 m, use the 10 m version rather than attempting to extend this cable
- Verify compatibility with your exact radar dome model number in Raymarine’s installation documentation before purchase
