The Raymarine A06076 is a 1-metre network adapter cable designed to connect compatible Raymarine SeaTalkng instruments, autopilot controllers and displays to a standard NMEA 2000 DeviceNet network. It provides a SeaTalkng spur connection at one end and a threaded male DeviceNet connector at the other, allowing Raymarine electronics to exchange compatible NMEA 2000 data through the vessel's network backbone.

Key Features

  • Connects compatible Raymarine SeaTalkng equipment to an NMEA 2000 DeviceNet network
  • Male threaded NMEA 2000 DeviceNet connector
  • SeaTalkng spur adapter connection
  • Cable length: 1 metre / 39.4 inches
  • Suitable for instruments, autopilot control heads and compatible marine displays
  • Supports clean integration between Raymarine SeaTalkng and standard NMEA 2000 cabling
  • Genuine Raymarine networking accessory
  • Raymarine part number: A06076

Product Compatibility

The A06076 is intended for compatible Raymarine products equipped with a SeaTalkng spur connection, including select:

  • Marine instruments
  • Autopilot controllers
  • Multifunction displays
  • Other compatible SeaTalkng network devices

The threaded DeviceNet end accepts a standard NMEA 2000 DeviceNet drop cable connected to an NMEA 2000 backbone. It is an adapter between the two connector formats and does not replace the backbone, network terminators or required network power components.

Fitment Notice

Check the connector gender and required cable length before ordering. The A06076 specifically provides the 1-metre DeviceNet male-to-SeaTalkng spur adapter configuration.

This cable should not be confused with adapters that have a female DeviceNet connector, a bare-wire connection, a backbone connector or a RayNet Ethernet connection. SeaTalkng and RayNet are different network systems and are not interchangeable.

When This Part Needs Replacement

Replace the adapter cable if:

  • The outer insulation is cut, crushed or badly abraded
  • Connector pins are bent, loose or corroded
  • The threaded DeviceNet collar no longer tightens securely
  • Network data becomes intermittent when the cable is moved
  • Moisture has entered either connector
  • Previous installation work has stretched or damaged the cable

Intermittent network faults should also be checked against backbone power, termination and other network connections before assuming the adapter itself has failed.

Installation Notes

Connect the SeaTalkng end to the compatible Raymarine instrument, autopilot controller or display. Connect the threaded DeviceNet male end to a standard NMEA 2000 DeviceNet drop cable leading to the vessel's backbone.

Install the cable without sharp bends, crushing, excessive tension or unsupported weight at either connector. The NMEA 2000 network must be correctly powered and terminated according to the equipment manufacturers' installation instructions.

Power down the marine-electronics network before making or changing connections. After installation, restore power and confirm that the connected device appears correctly on the network and is sharing the expected data.

Alternate/Superseded Part Numbers

  • A06076: 1-metre / 39.4-inch adapter cable
  • A06078: related 120 mm / 3.9-inch version
  • A06046: related 1.5-metre / 59.1-inch version

The shorter and longer cables are related length options, not automatic supersessions for A06076. Select the version that provides sufficient routing length without leaving unnecessary cable coiled behind the electronics.

Parts Desk Insight

The connector direction matters more than the cable's appearance. Before ordering, confirm that the Raymarine device uses a SeaTalkng spur connection and that the NMEA 2000 side requires a male DeviceNet connector. That quick check prevents most network-adapter mismatches.
