A heavy-duty stainless steel skeg guard designed to protect Evinrude, Suzuki, and Mercury outboard lower units from impact damage. The skeg is one of the most vulnerable parts of an outboard — a single strike on a rock, sandbar, or submerged debris can crack or shear it entirely, leading to costly gearcase repairs. The Safe-Skeg mounts over the existing skeg and absorbs impact energy, protecting the factory skeg beneath it.
