The Scanstrut APT-GPS-01 Central GPS/VHF Antenna Bar is the single-antenna component of the Scanstrut APT (Antenna PowerTower) system — a purpose-engineered solution for mounting a GPS or VHF antenna on a hardtop, arch, or mast without drilling into the vessel’s structure.
Instead of through-bolts and sealant, the APT-GPS-01 attaches to the Scanstrut PowerTower base using pre-drilled, internally mounted 316 stainless steel backing plates. The result is a structurally secure, fully removable installation that leaves no permanent marks on the vessel — and looks like it came from the factory.
At 12.5" overall height with a 1.26" tube diameter and standard 1"-14 TPI antenna thread, it accepts virtually any GPS or VHF antenna and integrates cleanly into the Scanstrut APT ecosystem. Powder-coated aluminum in white keeps it lightweight and corrosion-resistant against the elements.
