The Scanstrut SPD8W Compact Deck Pod is a fully adjustable display mounting pod designed to solve one of the most common helm installation challenges: finding a level, stable surface for a chartplotter or multifunction display on a boat with an angled or uneven deck. The slim-back profile keeps the pod low and compact, while the adjustable ball joint and locking lever allow precise positioning of displays up to 9" in size. Fully Adjustable Positioning

An adjustable ball joint provides a wide range of tilt and swivel movement, allowing the display to be set at the optimum viewing angle regardless of the deck angle or helm layout. Once positioned, a one-hand lever locks the pod firmly in place — swivel, tilt, lock, done.

One-Hand Operation

The easy-release lever can be operated with a single hand, making it practical to reposition the display underway without tools or assistance. Lock back into position with the same lever for a secure, rattle-free hold.

Reinforced Base Construction

An inner bracing plate secures the deck pod base to the pod body, adding structural rigidity to the assembly and reducing flex under load.
