The Scanstrut ROKK Mini RLS405 Suction Cup Base Mount is a single component of the modular ROKK Mini mounting system — specifically the suction cup base that attaches to smooth, flat surfaces such as windscreens, helm consoles, and dash panels. Paired with a compatible ROKK Mini body and top plate or clamp, it creates a complete, tool-free mounting solution for smartphones, small tablets, fishfinders, action cameras, and other onboard electronics.
This listing is for the suction cup base mount only. A complete ROKK Mini installation requires three components ordered separately: a base mount, a body, and a top plate or clamp.
Suction Cup Base — Where It Mounts
The RLS405 uses a high-strength suction cup mechanism to attach to smooth, non-porous surfaces without drilling or permanent fixings. Suitable for glass, gelcoat, and smooth plastic helm surfaces. Not recommended for textured, rough, or porous surfaces where suction cup adhesion cannot be guaranteed.
Metal-on-Metal Locking System
ROKK Mini components connect via a metal-on-metal locking interface that multiplies clamping force to achieve full locking engagement. Once clicked into place, the mount does not flex, rattle, or shift under vibration — a common failure point with plastic-on-plastic mounting systems.
Quick-Fit / Quick-Release
Devices install and release with a single click. The locking mechanism provides both secure retention and fast removal without tools, making it practical for shared mounts or multi-device setups.
ROKK Midi Compatible
All ROKK Mini top plates are cross-compatible with the ROKK Midi system, allowing you to mix components across both platforms as your setup evolves.
