Mercury Tank Clip Fuel Fitting – Scepter 05793
A direct-fit clip-style fuel fitting for the tank end of Mercury outboard fuel line systems. The 05793 snaps securely into the tank port and uses an o-ring seal to keep the connection tight and fuel-tight under normal operating conditions — built to OEM specifications for a no-fuss replacement.

Use this fitting when the tank-side clip connector on a Mercury fuel line is cracked, leaking, or won’t lock in properly. It’s the tank end of the clip-type Mercury fuel connection system. Mercury fuel systems use two distinct connection styles: clip-type and bayonet-type — confirm which style the customer has before ordering. The 05793 is the tank-side clip fitting; the engine-side match is the Scepter 05791. If the customer has a bayonet-style system instead, refer them to the Scepter 07497 Mercury Tank Bayonet Fitting (metal) or the Scepter 09476 Mercury Engine Bayonet Fitting. An updated clip-type tank fitting is also available as the Scepter 05837 — check if the customer’s engine year calls for the newer part. Mercury fittings are not interchangeable with Yamaha or BRP connectors.
