Scotty 1085 Strongarm 30" Manual Downrigger
The Scotty 1085 Strongarm is built for the angler who wants maximum capability from a manual downrigger. The 30" × 1¼" heavy-wall polished stainless steel boom handles serious weight without flex, and the high-speed two-foot-per-turn spool with extension handle makes retrieving deep weights far less work than a standard manual unit. It tilts up and locks vertical for easy dock maneuvering — a feature you'll appreciate every time you come in.
The 1085 has more disc brake surface than any other downrigger in its class. The automatic brake stops the unit the instant you release, and the positive locking slip clutch works like an adjustable reel drag — critical protection if you snag the bottom.
