The Scotty 2606 6" Pedestal Riser adds 6 inches of height to any Scotty downrigger mount, giving your downrigger boom the clearance it needs to swing freely without catching on rod holders, railings, or gunwale hardware. Built from fibre-reinforced nylon and 2" stainless steel tubing, it’s engineered for the same long-term durability as the downriggers it supports.

The 2606 riser is the go-to solution when a downrigger mount sits too low on the gunwale and the boom can’t swing clear of surrounding hardware. It’s particularly common on boats with flush-mounted rod holders or raised gunwale rails that interfere with boom rotation.
