The Scotty 2700K is a 200 ft. spool of Scotty’s Premium Power Braid — a custom-manufactured, low-drag microfilament braided downrigger line rated at 200 lb. test. The green color blends naturally in the water column, and the low-drag profile reduces bow in the line at depth, helping keep your weight and lure running true. A terminal fastening kit is included so you’re ready to spool and fish straight out of the package.

The 200 lb. test rating is slightly lower than the 250 lb. Dyneema®-based 2200K kit, but the low-drag microfilament construction is a meaningful advantage for anglers focused on depth accuracy and line bow reduction. If you fish deeper or want extra spool capacity, step up to the Scotty 2701K 300 ft. or Scotty 2702K 400 ft. versions. Pair with a Scotty 370 Trolling Snubber or Scotty 371 Trolling Snubber at the weight connection for shock absorption and cable protection.
