The Scotty Seeker Probe and Leader is a complete replacement or expansion unit for the Scotty Seeker wireless downrigger monitoring system. It pairs an advanced underwater probe with a 135 lb test stainless steel leader, giving you real-time depth, water temperature and trolling speed data at the cannonball — without running cables along your downrigger arm.
The probe uses Airmar's Gen2 Paddlewheel for accurate speed measurement and is housed in a reinforced, hydrodynamic body engineered to minimize drag at trolling speeds. With a 100+ hour battery life and a rapid 10-minute charge delivering 10 hours of use, it is designed to stay in the water across long fishing days without interruption.

Intended Use
Designed for trolling anglers who rely on precise depth-zone and temperature-break data to position baits effectively. The probe attaches below the downrigger weight via the included stainless leader, transmitting live readings wirelessly to the Scotty Seeker display. It is particularly effective when targeting salmon, lake trout or other species that hold tight to specific temperature windows or depth contours.
This unit can be used as a replacement probe for an existing Scotty Seeker Complete System or as an additional probe when running multiple downriggers and wanting independent readings on each line.
Compatibility
