The Sea-Dog Folding Grapnel Anchor steps up to mid-size vessel territory with the 13 lb. model — designed for powerboats, runabouts, and day cruisers in the 14–22 ft. range. Four forged flukes fold flat against the shank for easy, space-saving storage and lock securely in both the open and closed positions.
The grapnel design provides effective holding power across a wide range of bottom types including mud, sand, gravel, and rock — making it more versatile than a standard fluke anchor in mixed or hard-bottom conditions. The folded profile eliminates exposed flukes, making it safe to stow on inflatable boats and vessels with limited anchor locker space.
