The Sea-Dog #906 is a 12.8V incandescent wedge base bulb designed for marine cabinet, shelf, and interior accent lighting. Unlike bayonet or festoon bases, the wedge base design uses two wires bent up along the sides of the base to make contact with the socket — the compression fit holds the bulb securely in place without a locking twist, making it naturally resistant to working loose from vibration underway.
Sold individually, it’s a straightforward replacement for any fixture that calls for the #906 wedge base type on a 12V system.
