Sea Dog Line 1" UV-Resistant Nylon Drain Plug with Gasket
A purpose-built 1" drain plug for RIBs, small boats, transoms, baitwells, ice chests, and tanks. Injection-moulded from UV-resistant nylon for long-term durability in sun-exposed marine environments, this plug features a moulded-in recess in the base that traps sealant and creates a more reliable watertight seal than flat-base designs — particularly useful in installations where a perfect surface finish can't be guaranteed. Includes a gasket for a secure, leak-free fit.

This is the correct plug when you need a cost-effective, UV-stable 1" drain closure for a RIB, inflatable, or small fibreglass boat where sun exposure is a concern and a standard nylon plug would degrade or discolour over time. The moulded sealant recess is a practical advantage in baitwell and ice chest installations where the mounting surface may be slightly uneven or textured — the recess holds sealant in place during installation rather than allowing it to squeeze out before it cures. Apply a small amount of marine sealant to the recess before threading in for best results.
