A reliable double braid nylon anchor line built for everyday anchoring on lakes, rivers, and coastal waters. The double braid construction combines an inner braid core with a woven outer jacket, giving this line excellent strength, flexibility, and resistance to abrasion. Nylon's natural elasticity allows it to absorb sudden shock loads — critical when wind, current, or wake puts stress on your anchor rode. Measures 3/8 in. x 100 ft. and comes pre-fitted with a galvanized steel thimble for direct attachment to your anchor shackle. Gold and white colour makes it easy to spot on deck.
Best Use Case
Ideal for recreational powerboats and sailboats up to approximately 25–30 ft. anchoring in calm to moderate conditions. Works well as a primary anchor rode for day anchoring or overnight stays in protected anchorages. The 100 ft. length suits depths up to 20 ft. with a standard 5:1 scope. Pair with a length of galvanized chain between the thimble and anchor for added abrasion protection on rocky or rough bottoms.

This line is best suited for recreational vessels where a cost-effective, ready-to-use anchor rode is needed. The pre-installed thimble is galvanized (not stainless), so inspect it seasonally in saltwater use and replace if corrosion develops. For vessels over 30 ft. or anchoring in exposed conditions, step up to a 1/2 in. diameter line and add a minimum 6 ft. of galvanized chain. Nylon anchor lines should be rinsed with fresh water after saltwater use and stored dry to maximize service life. Not recommended as a mooring pendant — use a dedicated mooring line for that application.
