Double-Braid Nylon Anchor Line — 1/2 in. x 200 ft., White
When you need extra scope for deeper anchorages or exposed overnight stays, this 200-foot double-braid nylon anchor line gives you the length and strength to hold with confidence. The double-braid construction — a braided core inside a braided cover — distributes load evenly and absorbs shock better than twisted rope, keeping stress off your cleats and anchor hardware when conditions change.

Best use case: The 200 ft. length is the right choice when anchoring in deeper water (15–30 ft.) where a 7:1 scope ratio demands more line, or when anchoring in tidal areas where water depth can increase significantly overnight. Double-braid is preferred over 3-strand twisted when a softer, kink-free line is needed — it handles smoothly through bow rollers and coils cleanly on deck. Pair with a short length of galvanized chain between the anchor and line for improved holding and reduced chafe on the bottom.
