The Sea-Dog Folding Grapnel Anchor is a compact, versatile anchor designed for small boats, inflatables, kayaks, canoes, and personal watercraft. Four forged flukes fold flat against the shank for easy, space-saving storage — and lock securely in both the open and closed positions so the anchor stays where you put it.
The grapnel design provides effective holding power across a wide range of bottom types including mud, sand, gravel, and rock — making it more versatile than a standard fluke anchor in mixed or hard-bottom conditions. The folded profile is safe for use on inflatable boats, as there are no exposed flukes to puncture sensitive fabric when stowed.
