SHURflo Piranha Ballast Pump — 12V, 800 GPH, Anti-Airlock
Reliable ballast performance for smaller bags and tighter installations. The SHURflo Piranha 357-116-10 delivers 800 GPH at 12V — a solid output for single-bag ballast setups or boats where a slightly smaller pump fits the space or power budget better than the 1,100 GPH model. The patented anti-airlock feature automatically clears trapped air from the pump, preventing the dry-run failures that are common when draining ballast bags. The water-cooled motor and high-density nylon housing are built for the continuous-duty cycling that ballast systems demand, and the removable motor cartridge makes cleaning and servicing easy without special tools.

Parts Desk Insights
The 357-116-10 is the step-down model in the SHURflo Piranha ballast lineup — best suited for single-bag setups, smaller surf boats, or installations where the 3/4" hose barb outlet matches your existing plumbing. Note that the outlet on this model is 3/4" hose barb (vs. 1-1/8" on the 1,100 GPH model), so confirm your hose size before ordering. For higher output and faster fill/drain times on larger ballast systems, the SHURflo Piranha 357-106-10 at 1,100 GPH is the step-up model. The SHURflo Piranha family also includes livewell and aerator pumps: the SHURflo Piranha 12V Dual-Port Livewell Pump — 1,100 GPH, SHURflo Piranha 12V Submersible Livewell Pump, and SHURflo Piranha 12V Straight Port Aerator Pump round out the lineup.
