A 1-quart bottle of Sierra’s 25W-40 synthetic blend engine oil, purpose-formulated for sterndrive and inboard gasoline engines. Meeting NMMA FC-W certification, this oil is blended from premium synthetic and mineral base stocks with an additive package engineered to handle the sustained high-RPM loads, elevated temperatures, and corrosive conditions that inboard and sterndrive engines operate in.
The synthetic blend base maintains a stable viscosity film under thermal stress, while corrosion inhibitors protect cylinder walls, bearings, and valve train components from moisture and oxidation. Friction modifiers reduce wear during cold starts and extended high-load running.
