The Sierra RK19130 is a premium sealed marine rocker switch from the Contura XIV series with an Off-On-On SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw) configuration where both active positions are maintained. The switch starts at off and can be moved to either of two on positions, each of which stays latched when released. There is no center-off position between the two active states — once engaged, the switch holds its position until you move it again.
This layout is suited to applications requiring source selection or mode switching between two circuits, where you always want one of the two states active once the switch has been engaged and a return to off is only needed at startup or shutdown. Sealed to IP66/68 for above-panel components, the RK19130 keeps water and spray out of the switch mechanism in demanding marine environments. The silver-plated butt contact mechanism delivers maximum contact reliability, and the greaseless construction handles extreme temperature ranges without maintenance. The removable actuator allows style changes or replacement without removing the switch body from the panel.
