Sierra RK19170 Contura XIV Replacement Rocker Actuator – 2 Line Lenses
The Sierra RK19170 is a direct replacement actuator for Contura XIV rocker switches, featuring two horizontal line-shaped lens slots. The actuator is the rocker paddle itself — the part you press to operate the switch. When an actuator becomes cracked, faded, or damaged, replacing it restores the switch to full function and appearance without removing or rewiring the switch body from the panel.
The two line-shaped lens slots allow LEDs to shine through both ends of the actuator for independent illumination at each active position — suited to On-Off-On or other multi-position Contura XIV switches where each active state has its own indicator. The line lens format gives a different visual appearance on the panel compared to the square lens actuators in the Contura XIV family, making it a style choice as well as a functional replacement. The removable actuator design of the Contura XIV series makes this a straightforward swap in most installations.

Parts Desk Insights
The RK19170 is the right choice when you need a 2-position illuminated Contura XIV actuator with a line lens style rather than square windows — the line format gives a sleeker, more modern look on the panel face and is a popular choice for contemporary helm panel builds. The function is the same as the square lens actuators: LEDs shine through both lens positions to indicate which active state the switch is in. If you prefer square lens windows for the same dual-position illumination, the Sierra RK19160 Contura XIV Replacement Actuator with 2 Square Lenses is the square-lens alternative. For a single-position illuminated actuator with a square lens, the Sierra RK19140 Contura XIV Replacement Actuator with 1 Square Lens covers that application. Verify the lens style against your existing switch before ordering if you are matching an existing panel.
