The Sierra RK40690B is a premium illuminated marine rocker switch with a maintained On-Off-On SPDT (Single Pole, Double Throw) configuration and a blue halo LED with dependent (status) illumination. Unlike switches with independent illumination that glow continuously regardless of switch position, the RK40690B’s LED is dependent — it only illuminates when the switch is in an active position, giving you a clear visual confirmation that the circuit is energized. This makes it the preferred choice for applications where you want the switch to serve as a circuit status indicator, not just a panel backlight.
The blue halo LED illuminates the perimeter of the switch when active. Sealed to IP68 for direct water exposure protection. Rated at 20A at 12V DC for high-current marine loads. The dedicated TE connector with .110 terminals provides a secure, vibration-resistant wiring connection. Fits industry-standard panel cutouts for straightforward installation in new builds and retrofits.
