The Sierra RK40700B is a premium illuminated marine rocker switch with a maintained On-Off-On DPDT (Dual Pole, Double Throw) configuration and a blue halo LED with dependent (status) illumination. The LED only illuminates when the switch is in an active position — giving you a clear visual confirmation that the circuit is energized. This makes it the preferred choice for applications where you want the switch to serve as a circuit status indicator rather than a continuous panel backlight.
The DPDT configuration simultaneously switches two circuits between two output states, with a center-off position in between — making it ideal for reversing motor circuits (such as trim tabs or actuators where maintained position control is needed) or dual-circuit source selection. The blue halo LED illuminates the perimeter of the switch when active. Sealed to IP68 for direct water exposure protection. Rated at 20A at 12V DC for high-current marine loads. The dedicated TE connector with .110 terminals provides a secure, vibration-resistant wiring connection. Fits industry-standard panel cutouts.
