The Solas Rubex L3 is a squeeze-cast aluminum 3-blade propeller built around the Rubex interchangeable hub system. The 13.5" x 15" pitch is a popular mid-range option that balances strong acceleration with solid top-end speed — one of the most versatile pitches in the L3 lineup and a strong starting point for a wide range of outboard applications.
The Rubex system separates the propeller housing from the hub, so if the blades are damaged, you only replace the housing — not the entire propeller assembly. The hub is reusable in most cases, keeping long-term ownership costs low.

If the engine is over-revving at WOT, step up to the 13.25" x 17". If it’s under-revving or the customer needs more acceleration, step down to the 13.75" x 13". Always confirm the correct RBX hub kit for the engine before completing the sale — the RBX-102B and RBX-104B are the most common E-Series options. If a customer comes in after a prop strike, check whether the hub is intact — if so, they only need a replacement housing.
